Two events are schedule for this week of interest to Republicans.
The first is October 17. It will be the first annual Shelby County “Expose the United Nations” day event. The topic is what the UN’s Arms Trade Treaty means for gun owners. The speaker is Joe Wolverton, Constitutional attorney and author. It will be at the Bartlett Station Municipal Center Banquet Hall (behind the library) at 5868 Stage Road in Bartlett. It begins at 6 and runs through 8:30.

The $20 admission includes dinner from Leonard’s Pit BBQ (pork and chicken). Follow the “purchase ticket” link at http://mitchellmorrison.com/ or email Mitchell@mitchellmorrison.com or call 901-568-2248.
Attendance at this event will help us decide whether to bring future speakers, to educate about defending our gun rights and about UN treaty intrusions, and more.
On Friday, October 18, the Federalist Society will host a debate on the Constitutional Amendment to Change Tennessee’s Method of Judicial Selection. John L. Ryder, Esq. and Harris Shelton Hanover Walsh PLLC will debate Gary K. Smith, Esq. and Apperson Crump PLC.
The event begins at 11:30 with lunch at The Madison Hotel, 79 Madison Avenue. Cost is $25 for current Federalist Society members, $30 for non-members and includes lunch. To register, please contact Greg Grisham at (901) 462-2616 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
