A lot is happening around town this week for Republicans.
First, there will be a rally with Congressman Stephen Fincher and Michael Reagan, tomorrow, March 31st at the Collierville Town Square from 3-4 p.m. Rain location will be the Morton Museum. Shelby County Mayor Mark Luttrell and District Attorney General Amy Weirich will deliver brief remarks.
Then on Tuesday, April 1st, we will have our Midtown Republican Club meeting at 6 p.m. at Cafe Eclectic on North McLean. Judicial candidates from General Sessions and Criminal Court will introduce themselves. It’s always a great opportunity to meet them so that you are not just voting for any old recognizable name on the ballot. The judgeships are important posts that impact the lives of Memphians. It is important to put trustworthy officials in these positions.
On Wednesday, Judge Rhynette Hurd will have a campaign kickoff event at 5:30 p.m. at Just for Lunch at 3092 Poplar.
Thursday, April 3, Judge Dan Michael will have a fund raiser from 5-7 p.m. at the home of Renelle and Leslie Ballin, 254 Cloister Green Lane in Memphis. A donation of $250 a person is suggested. Lots to be done in the next few months before elections.
