At the Shelby County Republican Women’s Club Red, White, And Blue Picnic, Terry Roland announced he is running for Shelby County Mayor.
He said, “First, I’d like to thank the good Lord and my constituents for allowing me to serve as a County Commissioner for the past 5 years. After numerous requests from all over the County, prayerful consideration and consultations with family and friends I am proud to announce my candidacy for Shelby County Mayor in 2018.
“While I understand it is three years away, I am excited to share my common sense vision of lower taxes and less restrictive, unnecessary regulations to spur job growth and entice families and young people back to Shelby County. The fight for schools and consolidation is over, now we need to bring our community back together, lower the tax burden and boldly show the rest of Tennessee and America the wonderful assets available in Shelby County.”
Will David Lenoir be far behind?
