Saturday the “One Nation Working Together” rally planned in D.C. takes place, aimed as a backlash against the successful Glenn Beck and Tea Party rallies. Seems they are a little unsure whether anyone will turn up, so unions are providing free busing, free T shirts, free lunches and free Metro face cards as inducements. The SEIU will take people from major cities as far away as 12 hours and bus them to Washington. United Steelworkers union is busing people from the Northeast, while the AFL-CIO plans 1,400 buses from around the country. The Screen Actors Guild, the NAACP and Communications Workers of America are offering rides, too. More at Big Government.
