Sean Hannity has pursued this Seth Rich story admirably on both his radio and TV show. He is convinced that the DNC staffer leaked the Dems’ emails to Wikileaks and was murdered to stop him.
When you look at the stories about the Democrats and the Clinton’s ruthlessness, it is a logical conclusion. Stories I have posted here about Comey, the Russian connection and the Clintons fill in the gaps about why all this happened in a logical and believable way. If it turned out to be Rich and not the Russians who fed Wikileaks, their story collapses.
I was dismayed, then, to read a story from the Wrap.com saying that Hannity was backing off the story.
Sean Hannity announced tonight on his Fox News show that he will no longer discuss the July, 2016 murder of DNC staffer Seth Rich — for now, anyway.
“I totally completely understand how upset… how hard this is on this family, especially over the recent coverage of Seth’s death,” Hannity said, adding that he had reached out personally to the Rich family to offer his condolences.
“Out of respect for the family’s wishes, I am not discussing this matter at this time,” Hannity said. You can see Hannity’s comments in the video above.
Hannity’s announcement came after he received considerable criticism for promoting a conspiracy theory alleging that Rich provided internal DNC emails to Wikileaks, and that Rich may have been killed for doing so. Rich was shot to death last July in Washington, D.C., in what police have investigated as a robbery gone wrong.
A “robbery” in which nothing was taken from him by the way.
Fox evidently forced Hannity to dial it down. The Murdoch brothers can’t ruin their dad’s empire fast enough with their stubborn turn to the left. If anything, though, the standing down just reinforces what most of us think about the story. The Dems are scared to death of anything coming out so they are fighting like a cornered tiger. Who knows what pressure they have put on the Rich family? Given the Clintons’ history of shall we say, unfortunate accidents happening to their opponents, the family probably worries that cooperation with Hannity will equal another unfortunate accident happening to one of them.
Hannity, too, has probably received threats against himself and his family. That’s how coercion works. I do think that he will pursue the matter, although in an underground way.
Additionally, the Obama remainders at the FBI and DOJ will attempt to hide any info there is. Already Rich’s laptop has been taken but not allowed to be examined by DC police detectives. We have seen that these people will do anything to keep life in the swamp murky.
If our new DOJ is smart, they’ll insist on a look at this case. I read articles that suggest this case could bring down a good portion of the corruption in DC. Expect a battle.
