When You Can’t Win, Change the Rules

An item from the Washington Examiner caught my eye. It says that “Liberal filmmaker Michael Moore expects President Trump will win re-election in 2020.”

I predict that, too. The surprising part is that Moore, who foresaw Trump’s election in 2016, would feel it would happen in 2020, especially since Moore loathes the President.

But, as they say, wait – there’s more.

“I should say re-appointed, because we will have an even larger population that will vote against him in 2020,” Moore told Fast Company. “But he will win those electoral states as it stands now.”

To stop Trump, Moore wants Democrats to support an agreement between states to award their Electoral College votes to the candidate who wins the popular vote. The agreement, called the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact, has approval in 10 states and Washington, D.C.

“Here’s the good news: We don’t have to convince a single Trump voter to vote differently because we already have the majority,” Moore said.

Trump won the Electoral College vote, but lost the popular vote to Hillary Clinton by more than 3 million votes.

That’s right, if you can’t win legally, change the rules and subvert the Constitution. We’ve seen this time and again from the Democrats. They scream when they lose. They accuse everybody else of causing their loss: Russians, hanging chads, weather, day of the week, voter ID laws – anything that’s convenient.

Of course the media will take the ball and run with it. Make that Olympic level run and record breaking with it. Then TV stars, Hollywood, fashionistas, musicians, artists, dancers, etc. will take the baton.

This endeavor is probably a brainchild of George Soros. He has so many organizations at the ready and he’s already tried pushing for the popular vote instead of the electoral college. He’s a subversive and will stop at nothing to kill this country.

Hopefully he never succeeds and goes on soon to whatever reward awaits him in the next life. But we have to be vigilant and call out his efforts to defeat them.
