A website, gonavy.jp, reports the positions of our ships in the world. Currently, there are no supercarriers in the Mediterranean. Nor are there any in the seas off Taiwan, the South China Sea or the Indian Ocean. Only two carriers out of the 11 supercarriers we have are on active sea duty: the Carl Vinson in the North Arabian Sea and the Enterprise that just got there from Norfolk. Doesn’t seem we are too prepared for any big world events.
