Get Used to It

Think Republicans aren’t serious about cutting the budget? A little taste of tea has warmed them up to the idea, it seems.
Why else would Congressman John Conyers (D-MI), who has been in the House since 1964, make this comment: “This is the first time that I can remember being confronted by members of the Congress, my colleagues, who say, ‘I don’t care if I get reelected or not, I want to cut the budget by $100 billion r whatever. I’ve never seen that kind of a member before… It’s a dangerous point of view from my perspective.”
