New York Times writer Paul Krugman doesn’t think Obama’s stimulus was big enough. He’d prefer $30 TRILLION, the amount in today’s dollars spent getting WWII going. He says it turned the economy around, wiped out unemployment and ended the Great Depression. Except it didn’t according to today’s historians who say that unemployment was still sky high in the early 40s. When you send millions of men off to war, that is what ultimately ended unemployment.
