This is President Obama’s commentary on the passing of Neil Armstrong. The Daily Caller notes this is a stock image from last April. No, it is not photoshopped.
Neil’s spirit of discovery lives on in all the men and women who have devoted their lives to exploring the unknown – including those who are ensuring that we reach higher and go further (sic) in space. That legacy will endure – sparked by a man who taught us the enormous power of one small step.
You weren’t expecting a picture of Neil Armstrong were you? He’s not nearly as important as Barack Obama.
There is no thanks for Armstrong’s service, no admiration of his courage, no sympathy for his loved ones.
And, Obama was only about 8 years old when it happened, so it wasn’t really something he cared about or remembered.
