You would think that with 8 million plus Americans out of work and 11,000 plus going on food stamps every day of his presidency, Obama might have mentioned his plans for the economy in his inaugural speech.
Nope. He had a fleeting reference that it was recovering (really?) but that was it. If we had a real press instead of a fawning fan base someone might have actually brought that omission up. Instead, we get newscasters comparing the speech to Lincoln’s Gettysburg address.
Sad, isn’t it?
By the way, no mention of terrorism either in the speech. Guess he got that all taken care of! Just don’t look too closely.
