Today’s “Commercial Appeal” has a story about the City Council voting to remove the criminal notation of job applications. Although the paper does not tell how council members voted (I’d like to know how Midtown’s Jim Strickland voted) it is funny that Janis Fullilove was one of the sponsors.
Readers may remember her run ins with the law. I guess now she won’t have to mark the box when she applies for a job.
