There will be another townhall meeting concerning the smart meters issue. It will be Monday, July 8, from 6:30 to 8 at City Hall. Councilwoman Janis Fullilove is heading up the meeting at 125 N. Main, City Council Chamber first floor.
The topic will be coming up at the next Council meeting. They can still be persuaded to stop the allocation of $10 million to MLGW for 60,000 new smart meters.
