Read ’em and Weep

Here are the Republicans who voted against the president’s right to declare a national emergency about the border:

Sen. Roger Wicker, Mississippi

Marco Rubio, Florida

Rob Portman, Ohio

Susan Collins, Maine

Lisa Murkowski, Alaska

Roy Blunt, Missouri

Lamar Alexander, Tennessee

Pat Toomey, Pennsylvania

Mitt Romney, Utah

Rand Paul, Kentucky

Jerry Moran, Kansas

Mike Lee, Utah

Let their names live in infamy because they didn’t do anything substantive against Barack Obama. That includes you, Mitt. You could have spared us in 2012 by growing a spine in the debates; you were too concerned about offending people.

Not true in your dealings with Trump. You’re happy to offend him. Romney will do everything he can to make Trump’s presidency difficult. What’s wrong with Utah? Not only have they pushed this loser on us, but Mike Lee gets all holier-than-thou with this vote, too.

Shame on Lamar Alexander. He knows better, as does Roger Wicker. Kansans and Missourians won’t look kindly on Moran and Blunt either. Do they not understand the populace? Or are their own lobbyists too powerful to resist?

Rubio is obviously still smarting from the 2016 debates. If he has any future aspirations, he needs to wise up, too.

The problem is their high fallutin’ stance on presidential rights means nothing when Democrats are in charge. They run right over our rights and none of these bozos ever objects.

Here are the Republican seats up for election next year:

Lamar Alexander (R-Tennessee)

Shelley Moore Capito (R-West Virginia)

Bill Cassidy (R-Louisiana)

Susan Collins (R-Maine)

John Cornyn (R-Texas)

Tom Cotton (R-Arkansas)

Steve Daines (R-Montana)

Mike Enzi (R-Wyoming)

Joni Ernst (R-Iowa)

Cory Gardner (R-Colorado)

Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina)

Cindy Hyde-Smith (R-Mississippi)
James Inhofe (R-Oklahoma)

Martha McSally (R-Arizona)

Mitch McConnell (R-Kentucky)

David Perdue (R-GA)

Jim Risch (R-Idaho)

Pat Roberts (R-Kansas)

Mike Rounds (R-South Dakota)

Ben Sasse (R-Nebraska)

Dan Sullivan (R-Alaska)

Thom Tillis (R-North Carolina)

We will have our work cut out for us.

When idiots like these go against party sentiments, it’s not promising.
