Gavin Newsom and some “friends” had a party at the French Laundry. If you’re not familiar with it, it is a highly expensive restaurant. A couple would probably be lucky to get out of there for $500 and that’s a no frills experience.
So ex Fox reporter Adam Housley decided to dig a little deeper into this party. Not too hard to do since he lives in Yountsville, the home of the French Laundry.
He tweeted: “I thought I’d do some digging. Facts about the Newsom dinner. The bar bill was around 15-thousand. 22 people in attendance, not 12. No masks. All indoors. They got so loud, other patrons complained. There was ‘zero effort’ to go outside and there was no social distancing of any type. I’m also told some of those there are now privately laughing at the controversy. Remember this is my little hometown. The walls speak.”
That amounts to almost $700 a person – for drinks!
You don’t imagine that Newsom paid the bill, do you?
Who did? Want to be it was the taxpayer?
What did they drink? Newsom also has his own winery? Does one hand wash the other?
This after California legislators just had a jaunt in Hawaii. Remember, the rules are for you, not for them.
