As reported yesterday, Fox News moved quickly once Smartmatic accused them of spreading disinformation. They put an interview that really wasn’t an interview but a statement from Smartmatic’s Eddie Perez on two of their most popular shows, Lou Dobbs and Maria Bartiromo’s Sunday Morning Futures.
Newsmax caves to #Dominion and #Smartmatic. Goes further than complying with cease and desist; basically reading a press release for them. Horrifying.
No lawyer will advise their client to do this. Especially, while they allege they’ve reported nothing.pic.twitter.com/Tlg3aoftkj

They now say, ““Newsmax has found no evidence that either Dominion or Smartmatic owns the other or has any business association with each other. We have no evidence that Dominion uses Smartmatic software or vice versa. No evidence has been offered that Dominion or Smartmatic used software or reprogrammed software that manipulated votes in the 2020 election.”
Viewers have commented that Newsmax is not as conservative friendly as people would like it to be.
If they go down this road, they will be Fox News Lite. That’s the way straight into ratings plunges and obscurity.
