Of course, all Republicans voted yesterday to repeal Obamacare as promised.
Only three Democrats joined them. They were Dan Boren of Oklahoma, Mike Ross of Arkansas and Mike McIntyre of North Carolina.
Last year ten Democrats joined Republicans to vote against Obamacare. This time they voted for it and joined their fellow Democrats. The culprits were Ben Chandler of Kentucky, Jason Altmire of Pennsylvania, Jim Matheson of Utah, Heath Schuler of North Carolina, Larry Kissell of North Carolina, Tim Holden of Pennsylvania, John Barrow of Georgia, Collin Peterson of Minnesota, Stephen Lynch of Massachussetts and Dan Lipinski of Illinois. Lipinski in particular surprises me. He has been an outspoken foe of abortion and voted against Obamacare last year, even defying Bart Stupack’s promise of no abortion funding to do it. He appeared on Catholic TV shows vowing his opposition. Wonder what happened?
