Pat Myself on the Back

For a long time, I have suggested that the sales by Joseph A. Bank reflected the direction of our economy. For example, when the sales are buy one, get five free, that means retail is suffering because people don’t have money to spend on suits. They don’t have money to spend because they don’t have a job and they don’t have a job because the economy is doing poorly.
Today, a reporter on Fox Business said after the weak ADP jobs number that “what’s interesting is that some people are going as far as correlating Joseph A. Bank to the jobs number… It’s not crazy. No jobs, no suits.” Their stock today was down 13% which jives with the lousy employment report.
