Better Get Krugman on This

The New York Times with its “genius” financial writers like Paul Krugman and Nicholas Kristof doesn’t seem to understand profit. The Boston Globe, which they bought for $1.2 billion, they are now willing to sell for $100 million. In addition, Ace of Spades says, “Making the sale more difficult is the fact that the NYT is currently on the hook for $110 million in pension liabilities, which a buyer might agree to pay for, but the New York Times wants… cash.”
